we went on a tour around the bay on a boat. It was fun to see the Golden Gate Bridge up close and alcatraz. Gabe didn't like being on the top of the boat so he and I were inside and watched behind the window.

Grandma and grandpa L brought Gabe a floor puzzle that he absolutely loves.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit!!! They gave Evie this baby in a purse that she put on and started strutting around the house. She loves them!

That is a koala sleeping behind us.

I thought this golden eagle and owl were the coolest. Both are receiving care there. The golden eagle lost his wing in a car crash and I am not sure what happened to the owl. We felt sorry for the birds but it was really cool to see them so close.

We went to the San Francisco Zoo. It was fabulous so many animals that I don't remember seeing before and you can see them pretty close up.

Gabe and Evie usually love being together. When I put Gabe in his room for standing on the piano Evie went to his door and started crying for not being able to be with her brother.

We went to the little farm and feed the animals. Evie and Gabe had a lot of fun giving the animals lettuce and celery.

We went to the Redwood regional forest- (not the one with the tallest trees) It was so beautiful!! The light coming down through the trees was breath taking. It is fun being close to woods.

I had just gone for a run and was stretching in the backyard. Gabe came out wearing this and I thought it was pretty cute. He wanted to stretch with me. He is a good stretcher. Which reminds me of a good story- in LA Gabe liked to stretch on the stairs and stuff outside the apartment. One time he didn't want to go in our apartment so he said he had to stretch. I counted to ten and then said we had to go. He said (in spanish) "I have to stretch the other side!"

We went to the Oakland Zoo. It was pretty tiny but still fun. It is so nice having Chris around on Saturdays!

We went to the aquarium at Fisherman's wharf. It was very fun and exciting. The tunnel was the best part. There were a lot of sharks and rays etc that swam over us.
